Counterfeit or "Knock-Off" Merchandise

 

Notice:  The following properties located in Mansfield, Indiana provide premium vendor spaces for merchants who offer quality and legal merchandise for sale during the Covered Bridge Festival. In the contract for each property it states that:

 

 "All products must meet national, state and local legal regulations. Failure to do so may result in arrest and confiscation by local, state or federal authorities. No refunds are made to those who do not comply with this requirement. "

 

Counterfeit or "Knock-Off" Merchandise Defined

Unauthorized imitations of works of art, toys, clothing, accessories, software, pharmaceuticals, perfumes, watches, electronics, tools and company logos and brands that is intended to be mistaken as genuine or authentic.  In the case of goods, it often results in patent infringement or trademark infringement or copyright infringement.

 

Parke County TML Counterfeit or Stolen Merchandise Policy


Parke County works in conjunction with state and federal authorities to fight counterfeiting. Any vendors found to be selling counterfeit or stolen merchandise will have their permit(s) revoked and will be barred from future Parke County festivals. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security will determine criminal violations under Title 18 United States Code, Section 2320 Trafficking in Counterfeit Goods and Services.
